SAFETY GUIDE
Trust slowly.
If anyone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. Solid cannot provide emergency response.
Before meeting
- Keep early conversation in the app.
- Never send money, gift cards, crypto, account credentials, or login codes.
- Be careful with links and requests to move immediately to another app.
- Tell a friend where you are going and when you expect to return.
Meeting
- Meet in a populated public place and control your own transportation.
- Do not leave drinks or possessions unattended.
- Leave whenever something feels wrong. You do not owe anyone politeness or an explanation.
Consent and privacy
Consent must be specific, informed, enthusiastic, and reversible. Do not share another member’s profile, messages, images, workplace, or location without permission.
Your messages here are not private from us. Solid conversations are not end-to-end encrypted, and authorized operators can read them to prevent or confirm abuse — always with a recorded reason and an audit-log entry. We are not reading them for fun, but you should know they are visible. Use Solid to work out whether someone is a real match, then take anything private to text or wherever you prefer.
Block and report
Every conversation has a Safety action on phone and computer. A private report asks for a clear reason and description, then lets you block and end the match immediately. Reporting saves the relevant profile and up to 100 recent messages for authorized safety review; the reported member is not told who reported them. Evidence access is audited. Blocking hides the pair from each other. Suspending an account revokes its sessions and pauses its profile. Photo review does not prove identity.
Account security
Never share a six-digit login code. Use Account → Security & privacy to sign out other devices, contact support, change traffic analytics, or permanently remove the public account and photos. For a safety or support issue outside the app, email support@meetsolid.app. Email is not an emergency channel.
